❄ Seasons and winter

  • A year is four seasons. In autumn the harvest is richer — time to store bread and firewood.
  • In winter fields and the apiary don’t work, and houses are heated with firewood — 1 per settler a day. Without firewood the colony freezes: settlers get hungry faster, sleep worse and feel sad.
  • Snow covers trails and roads — walking through snow is slower. Trails stay under snow until spring; roads and bridges are cleared by the “Cleaning” job (jobs): in winter a paved way is much faster.
  • Cut forest grows back from its edges — over several years. Bare ground where rock used to be gets covered with grass in eight days if nobody walks on it.
