⚖ Book of laws

⚠ Spoiler: this opens in chapter 7.

The 🔬 Law research (chapter 7) unlocks the 🏠 Council house and the book of laws: the “⚖ Book of laws” button in the Council house window or ⚖ at the top.

  • Laws come in pairs: from each pair the colony passes one — forever; the other can no longer be passed.
  • Proclaiming a law costs 4 Paper, 10 Gold; the council meets no more than once every 3 d.
  • Mood from laws is shown in a settler’s mood breakdown, speed — in the building window.
