🚀 Getting started

At first the colony has a few settlers, a little bread and some logs. What to do in the first days:

Mark forest with 🪓 “Chop” — wood is needed for almost everything (Wood).
Build a 🏠 House: settlers sleep better in a house and are happier.
Set up bread: 🌾 Farm → 🌾 Mill → 🌾 Bakery (the bread chain).
Assign jobs in the 📋 “Jobs” window.
Mark rocks with ⛏ — Stone for storage and workshops.
Search the ruins of the ancients — they hold items with properties and shard dust. The first search always brings a rare item.
Build a 📜 Antiquarian’s study and pick a research.

In a new colony, above the story goals there are “🎁 First steps”: four small tasks (chop trees, mine stone, build a house, search ruins). Each gives a reward at once, all of them — an arcane core. While they last, a finger 👆 shows where to tap for the next one (it turns off together with the tutorial in the settings). When you gather three cores out of five, the Heart responds and gives the first rune, “Spark”. At the bottom of the chapter window is “What’s ahead”: how many Heart shards are found and how many keepers you haven’t met yet. The first day goes a bit faster, and by evening the first guest arrives — a wanderer (if there is a free bed) or a trade caravan. Story goals are in the tracker at the top left and in the story section. Not sure how to finish a stage? Press “❓ How to do it” in the tracker: it says where the buttons are and where to get what’s needed (the same is in the chapter window). If a stage lasts longer than three days, the hint opens by itself. Daily and weekly tasks 🎯 have a 💡 hint under each task. If something is wrong in the colony (hunger, cold, no beds, construction stalled, storage full, everyone idle), ⚠ appears at the top — it says what to do.
