📦 Storage and supplies
All supplies belong to the whole colony. How much fits: a storage tile — 100, a 📦 Warehouse — 500, a resource camp — 150, a 🌾 Granary — 300 (food only). The “Shelving” research gives +50%. Gold, dust, cores and medicine take no room.
- If storage is overfull, some food (bread, flour, grain, herbs, meat) spoils. The more surplus, the more spoils.
- Food outside granaries spoils a little every day; 5 units per settler are kept in homes.
- Camps — the 🪵 Lumber camp and the 🧱 Mining camp — are drop-off places near the work: no need to carry things across the whole map. Settlers can also eat at camps and granaries — no need to walk to storage.
- Surplus is sold at the ⚖️ Trading post: the price drops with each sale and then recovers.
- The “Supplies” window (📦 or Z) — all goods by group: how much was gained and lost in a day.
How much to make
A workshop or field has a target: they work while the colony has less of that good than the target. Once enough is made, they stop. Change the target with the − and + buttons in the building window.
- The “Auto quota” button — the target is counted by itself: it grows with the colony (normal for 8 settlers, double for 16), in autumn half again as much food is stocked for winter, and when storage is almost full, nothing extra is made.
- New buildings have “Auto quota” on from the start. Press − or + and the target is yours again.
- The smithy, armory and shipyard keep their own target: items and airships don’t multiply.
